OWENS, Charles Passed away in Windsor on April 14, 2016, at the age of 87. He was the foundation of blended families and is survived by his wife of 43 years, Opal Owens, sisters, Pat Merritt and Betty Redding, brothers, Bill Owens and Tom Terwilliger, children Richard Owens, Leonard Avilla, Bruce Avilla, Tania Montes, Joni Barajas, and Lee Cox, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Charlie enthusiastically greeted all who passed the family home on the main street of Old Downtown Windsor. He was a World War II Veteran of the Army Air Corp, an athlete, a rodeo rider of broncos, avid fisherman, hunter, and gold miner. He was a Teamster truck-driver most of his working career. There is one phrase that all agree describes Charlie Owens "He was always there for me." He will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Windsor Healdsburg Mortuary in Windsor on Friday, April 22, 2016, at 12:00 p.m., burial to follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Rena Fay Hudson, 81, of Carney passed away July 3, 2012 in Stillwater, OK. There will be a graveside service at Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, OK on Saturday July 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Mark Davis officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rena was born on February 17, 1931 in Richards, Oklahoma to John and Hazel Stinnett. Rena married Glen Hudson on March 28, 1948 in Reno, Nevada. She attended schools in Oklahoma. Rena worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant. Rena dedicated her life to her family.
Rena is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, one brother and one grandson.
Rena is survived by one son, Jack Hudson, and four daughters, Geri Hemphill, Dale Hudson, Glenneta Zaske and Gayle Kolbenschlag. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.

She is dearly loved by her family and friends and will always be remembered for being a wonderful wife,
mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
She is the loving wife of 43 years of Wayne Weyers of Oroville; mother of Kathy (Paul) Stienstra, Marvin "Mac" (Diane) Weyers, Bill (Kathy) Weyers, Louis (Lori) Weyers, Bob (Susan) Weyers, Linda (John) Wilson and Larry Weyers; grandmother of 22; great grandmother of 44; sister of John Stinnett, Rena Hudson and David Stinnett. Some of you know what is going on and to some of you this is possible the first you have heard of it, but this is an Update on Emma.
Emma was diagnosed with lung cancer in March, 2007. Surgery to remove upper lobe and half the center lobe of left lung on May 29, 2007 Emma was in Enloe Hospital in Chco for four days following surgery.
Re-admitted for Pleurisy at Oroville Hospital for four days on June 3, 2007 On june 17, 2007, Emma was admitted to Oroville Hospital for fluid around the heart. She was stabilized and transported to Enloe Hospital the same day. Emma was in the hospital for the next five days.
Emma had pneumonia on July 1, 2007 and returned to Oroville Hospital for five days.
Between December 4, 2007 and January 18, 2008 Emma received eight chemotherapy treatments and thirty-three radiation treatments. She received the chemo and radiation treatment during the same period. Chemotherapy in Paradise at Feather River Cancer Center. Radiation at Oroville Radiation Center.
Emma returned to Enloe Hospital on February 16, 2008 for an undiagnosed condition(possibly dehydration) for three days.
Re-admitted to Oroville Hospital on March 3, 2008. Initially admitted for pneumonia. Then, diagnosed with a condition called radiation-pneumonitis. This condition is one of the possible side-effects from radiation treatment. Radiation-pneumonitis mimics pneumonia. It's basically like a sunburn inside the lungs. This condition impairs a persons ability to get enough oxygen into the lungs and it is treated with steroids. Emma's condition worsened and she passed on from heart failure on March 13, 2008. Exactly forty-four years, to the day, from the day we met.

EMMA GEORGIA WEYERS
Emma Georgia Weyers passed away peacefully on March 13, 2008 with her husband and one of her sons at her side.
She was born in Oklahoma on May 6, 1936, to John Myrel and Hazel Overton Stinnett. The family moved to California when Emma was very young She met her husband, Wayne in 1964 on Friday the 13th in March it was always a joke between them that they met on such an unlucky day As they had both been married before, they merged into a very large family on August 3, 1964, as Wayne had three children and Emma had four. They raised their blended family in central and northern California, mostly in the Salinas area. They had planned on adopting each others children at that time. but the paperwork was lost, and life got in the way and it was never finished until the kids got together last year and decided it was time to finish the process. Wayne and Emma finally saw their dream come true on March 3, 2008, when they all went before the judge in Butte County and became the original "Brady Bunch"
Wayne and Emma moved to Gilroy in 1978 and started a very successful Fire Protection business, which Emma and most of the children at some point worked in to get it off the ground. When Wayne and Emma got ready to retire from the business, they found property in
the Oroville area, where Wayne had a brother and sister-in-law living, and where Emmas youngest son lived.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Wayne L. Weyers; seven children, Kathy and her husband Paul Stienstra, Marvin CE Mac and his wife Diane Weyers, Bill E. and his wife Kathy Weyers, Louis E. and his wife Lori Weyers, Bob J. and his wife Susan Weyers, Linda K. and her husband John Wilson, and Larry A. Weyers. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren (they stopped counting officially at 40 because they are still coming); and the great-great-grandchildren have started coming too (but no one is counting them). Emma is also survived by her eldest brother. John Stinnett and his wife Donna; her oldest sister, Rena F. Hudson; and her youngest brother, David Stinnett and his wife Helga.
Emma is preceded in death by a sister. Dorothy Jewel Owen; and brother, Willis Myrel Stinnett. She was well loved as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Services were held March 17th at the Palermo Baptist Church.

Obituary for Bruce Avilla
Bruce Charles Avilla, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born May 25, 1950, in Santa Rosa, California, and departed this life on May 23, 2017, at his home in Chandler, at the age of 66 years.
Bruce was the son Dorothy (Stinnett) Avilla. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, having been awarded the Purple Heart for injuries sustained. Bruce worked for J&M Tree Service for many years, and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
His parents; son, Daniel Paul Avilla; and aunt, Rena Hudson; preceded Bruce in death.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Dawn and Paul Gregory of Chandler, Oklahoma, and Crystal Avilla of McLoud, Oklahoma; one son, Jonathan Avilla; two grandchildren, Daniel and Crystal Gregory of Chandler; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.

Donna Mae Stinnett (Wiley), 81, born to Jack and Daisy Wiley in Porterville, CA passed away peacefully at home in Oregon surrounded by her family on July 23, 2018.
Donna grew up in Willits, CA where she met John, her husband of 63 years. Donna served in many offices for the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary both at the state and national levels. She was the driving force in organizing the family reunions, family being so important to her. She loved and cared for her friends and family and they will always love and cherish her.
She is preceded in death by her oldest son, Bob, grandson Robbie and her parents.
Donna is survived by her husband John, her sons Steve Stinnett (Kristy) and Mike Stinnett (Patty), her granddaughters Amy Pharis (Kevin), Jenna Stinnett and Jillian Sederburg (Jesse) and her great-grandchildren Ginny, Charlotte and Adam.
Friends, family and colleagues are welcome to join in a celebration of life on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at the Community Center of Mendocino located at 998 School St. in Mendocino, CA from 6pm-9pm.

STINNETT, Helga Zanders Was set free on October 9, 2014 after a long battle with Parkinson's. She spent her final days at home surrounded by her loving family and long time friends. Her final moments were spent holding the hand of her devoted husband Dave who cared for her every day during her long illness. Their marriage of over 50 years was a true love affair which was evident to all who knew them. Born in Winterburg, Germany on September 11, 1943 to Helma and Matthias Zanders, she was the eldest girl of 7 children. After high school, she trained to be a chef in her hometown of Goch. She met her husband Dave in Germany in 1962 while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force; they married and moved to the United States in 1965. Helga loved to dance, cook, and entertain friends and family. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, nothing brought her more joy than being in the presence of her family. She particularly cherished her grandchildren and happily watched over and played with them as they were growing up. She will be remembered for her loving nature, her kind and generous spirit and her dedication to her family. While she loved living in Sonoma County, Helga was often homesick for her family and home town of Goch and traveled back often. Helga made many German friends and thru these relationships she was able to enjoy the culture and language she missed so much. She is also survived by her son Michael Stinnett and his wife Dayna and by her daughter Tami Smith and her husband Nick and by her Grandchildren Tabbetha Stinnett, Myriah Smith, Hailey Smith, and Isaiah Smith along with her siblings Werner Zanders, Rolf Zanders, Lydia Wrobel, Dieter Zanders, Vera Schroder and their families. A private Celebration of Life with friends and family will be held, and Helga will be laid to rest at Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Auf Wiedersehen unser Schatzi, Mom, Oma
