January 10, 1921 - December 29, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Mauline Blanks Barker passed away on December 29, 2012. She was born in Aspermont County, Texas on January 10, 1921. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Gray Barker, and by her first husband of 48 years, William David (Dave) Blanks. Her life was a reflection of her unwavering Christian beliefs and she was loved by others for her caring, helpful nature and the fact that she brought out the best in everyone she encountered. Her family was the center of her life and she took infinite pride in all of their accomplishments. She lived for their visits and they held the same devotion for her. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Mauline attended the Bethany First Assembly of God Church where she was very active in the life of the church. She was a real estate broker for nearly 40 years and delighted in helping people become homeowners. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Forster and husband Steve of Oklahoma City, and by her son, Bob Blanks and wife Sherry of Houston, TX. She was also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at Kelley and Memorial in Oklahoma City at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
