BEDFORD -- Harvey B. Huckabee passed away peacefully, at home, on July 27, 2013 after a short battle with cancer.
He was 84 years old.
A service for Harvey will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 12:30 PM in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel.
Burial will immediately follow.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5-7 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Harvey was born on July 9, 1929 in Stephenville, TX.
He grew up in Fort Worth, Graduated from Arlington Heights High School, and served in the US Army for two years overseas in Germany. Harvey married Elaine Anderson in 1950 and together, they spent 63 years of wedded bliss. He owned and operated Harvey's Auto Supply and was a member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
He was a beloved husband and father and in his free-time, Harvey enjoyed playing golf and fishing, but is best remembered for his brilliant sense of humor.
Harvey was preceded in death by his son, Scott Huckabee.
Survivors: his wife, Elaine Huckabee; son, Bruce Huckabee and wife, Becky; sister, Imogene Gentry; beloved dog Gizmo and many nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

Chester Gentry was born Dec, 10, 1923,. in Fort Worth, to the late E.C., and Nona Gentry, He graduated from Polytechnic High Schoot in 1941, and served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. A life-long resident of Fort Worth, Chester worked 50 years in the transportation industry with Greyhound Bus Line, Texas Motor Coaches and Kerrville Bus Company.
