~ Frank C. Gilliam, age 68, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Jacksboro, Texas with Brother Dale Osteen officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 PM at Restland Cemetery in Olney. Services are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Frank was born August 18, 1945 in Olney to the late B.C. Gilliam Jr. and Barbara Allen Gilliam. He graduated from Olney High School and attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he received his Associates Degree in Drafting. He served proudly in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Frank married the love of his life, Linda Rux on December 27, 1968 in Handley, Texas. He moved to Jacksboro in 1973 from Gretna, Louisiana. Frank was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro. He was a hard worker and the owner and operator of Gilliam Oil and Well Service.
Frank is survived by his wife, Linda Gilliam of Jacksboro; son, Clay Gilliam of Weatherford; daughter, Amanda Thurmond and husband Jason of Little Elm; granddaughter, Anna Thurmond; his loving dog "Izzy"; and two sisters; Lyn Nell Yeatts and husband Gene of Arlington and Marjorie Jamison of Weatherford. Viewing will be Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 10:00 AM to noon at First Baptist Church in Jacksboro.
The family suggests memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.

Services for Gene Mills, 72, of Quinlan, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Bailey & Foster Chapel with the Rev. Buford Stockard officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Cemetery.
Mr. Mills died Saturday morning at the Medical Center in Terrell.
He was born Dec. 31,1929 in Trenton to J.W. Mills and Leona Pryor Mills.
Mr. Mills was a Baptist. Before retiring he was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Leona Parker Mills, in 2001; and a son, Roy Lee Bridges.
Mr. Mills is survived by daughters, Jena Ann Fice of Hogeye and Becky Lankford of Palestine; son, Freddie Joe Mills of Quinlan; sister, Aretis Lockridge of Fate; brothers, Troy Mills and Wendell Mills, both of Yantis, and Edwin Mills of Blue Ridge; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Lockridge, Michael Wade Johnson, Horace Parker, Billy Lloyd Lockridge, Denny Lee Pettit and Troy Paul Mills.
Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
