SEYMOUR Wayne Hot Shot Petit, age 67, passed away Monday, March 17, 2008, in Wichita Falls.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008, at the Seymour Church of Christ, with Steve Young and Bobby Robertson officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Petit was born January 6, 1941, in Henrietta, Texas, to Thomas Stevens Petit and Lita Mae Canada Petit. He married Kay Cole on Dec. 23, 1960, in Vernon, Texas. He was the foreman for Cowan and Sons Circle Bar Ranch for 43 years, and was a member of the Working Ranch Cowboy Association.
He is survived by his wife, Kay of Seymour, Texas.
Wayne was the father of two sons; Terry Wayne Petit, who passed away Nov. 15, 1991, and Wayne is survived by Terrys wife, Keri and their son, Kris; and a son, Joe Mac Petit, his wife, Laura, and their children, Cole and Jozie; a brother, Floyd Petit of Waurika, Okla., and a sister, Nina Bromfield of Vernon, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, the Archer City Volunteer Fire Department, the Seymour Cemetery Association, or to the Rathgeber Hospitality House, 1615 12th St., Wichita Falls 76301.

Raymon M. Petit, 75, of Jacksboro, attended the Antelope schools before moving to Archer City.
He served as a techician fifth grade in the Asian-Pacific Theater in the US Army during World War II.
He and Jackie Shadwick married 15 March 1947 at Archer City, Texas. She preceded him in death.
He worked as a cowboy on various rancher in Archer County area before becoming a driller in the oil industry. He was employed by the L.T. Burns Drilling Company. He retired in 1984 as a tool pusher for the Santa Fe Drilling Company.
He was a former resident of Odessa, Wichita Falls and Olney. He was a member of the VFW in Jacksboro.
Survived by two daughters - Pat Hampton and Judy Kelley; five sisters - Pearl Caldwell, Anna Mae Butler, Viola Rushing, Vera Harrelson and Wilma Sanders; two brothers - Roy Petit and Richard "Pete" Petit; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Kae Welling 1923 ~ 2005 Ona Kae Barlow Welling, 81, died Friday, February 4, 2005 at her home in Evanston. She was born October 17, 1923 in Tremonton, Utah to Fielding Burton and Ona Jesse (King) Barlow. On November 9, 1943, she married Blain K Welling in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. Kae was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings including Primary Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Stake Sunday School Leader, Drama Director in the Young Women's Organization, President of the Relief Society, Relief Society Teacher, and secretary to the Stake Patriarch. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, home decor, cooking, and accounting. She is survived by her husband, Blain, of Evanston: sons Jay (Brenda) Welling, Craig (Deborah) Welling, and Shad (Norma) Welling, all of Evanston; brother, Howard K. Barlow; sisters, Dorreen Iverson, Ann Kastanis, and Ruth Funk; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fielding Barlow. Funeral services will be held at the Uinta View Ward Chapel, 200 Sage Street, Saturday, February 12, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. A viewing will be held at the church, Friday, February 11, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to services. Mr. McAlister passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, in Lawton. Raymond Lee McAlister was born Dec. 18, 1957, to T.J. "Mac" and Sybil (Stinnett) McAlister. He was raised on the south side of Lawton and attended school at Lincoln Elementary. Being the very special young man that he was, he also attended the Robert Greiner School for Handicapped Children and Young Adults for many years.
The Lord gave Mr. McAlister a special blessing that he has shared with many others over the course of his life on this earth. He led a very busy life, participating in church functions, sporting events, rodeos, stock car races, county courthouse activities and the Oklahoma Special Olympics.
He was famously known as "Bicycle Raymond" because he rode his bicycle everywhere, especially in local parades, always sporting the American Flag. Mr. McAlister was one of a kind and never let his handicap rule over his life. He will be sadly missed by all, but all have truly been blessed by knowing him. He was a welcomed member of many organizations over the past 40 years. He never knew a stranger.
Mr. McAlister is survived by many friends of the Lawton community and surrounding areas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Joe Standridge.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow, with Bailey Cottrell and Rick Neathery officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery.
Imogene was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Lindsay, to Leo and Hettie Mahan Kendall. She attended Oakhurst School. She lived in Fletcher before moving to Stephens County 65 years ago. Imogene married Richard Dave Stinnett on Dec. 30, 1939, in Lawton. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1993.
She enjoyed her flowers and garden. Imogene loved to piece together quilts and quilt them. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. She attended Gospel Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include a son, Richard Lee Stinnett and wife Peggy of Bray; three daughters, Myra Ladd and husband Ronnie of Marlow, Faye Sweat and husband Calvin of Duncan, and Kathy Gibson and husband Rich of Faye, Okla.; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Kendall and wife Eugunia, and L.C. Kendall and wife Pat, all of Fletcher, and her twin brother, Eugene Kendall and wife Betty of Sterling; and a sister, Delores Smith and husband Adrian of Sterling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Howard Kendall, Howie Kendall, Merle Kendall, and J.C. Kendall; and a sister, Winnefred Crotwell.
Bearers will be Clint Owen, Brad Plemons, Dennis Sweat, Arick Gibson, Travis Gibson and Brendon Gibson.
Honorary bearers are Matt Francis and Woody Elmore.
