Funeral services for Charlene Gammage Bridges, 51, of 9125 Woodlyn, Houston, formerly of Elkhart, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hassell & Foster Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Elkhart. The Rev. Carl Williamson will officiate.
Mrs. Bridges died Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital, Houston.
Mrs. Bridges was born Aug. 11, 1930 in Grapeland, a daughter of Vera Franklin Gammage and the late Charlie C. Gammage. She was reared in Elkhart and resided there until moving to Houston 35 years ago. A member of Hibbard Memorial Baptist Church in Houston, she was an accounting supervisor at Montgomery Ward for the past 18 years.
Survivors include her husband, Guy D. Bridges, her mother, Mrs. Vera Gammage, two sons, Jerry G. Bridges and Richard D. Bridges; a daughter, Rhonda Bridges Warren, all of Houston; four sisters, Imagean Hobson of Houston; Bonnie Duke of Mexia; Nelda Anderson and Patsy Villareal, both of League City; and 4 grandchildren.
Condolence will by received at the J. C. Searcy residence, Elkhart, telephone 764-xxxx.

She died Friday, May 11, 2007 in Brownwood.
Mrs Clines was born April 24, 1917, in Ellis County. She married Albert Green Clines at Crockett in 1939.
A homemaker, she had been a resident of Brownwood for 27 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was known by her family and church friends as a great cook with cornbread dressing, fried pies and cookies her specialties.
A real people person, she was greatly loved by her family and was on the church hospitality committee and made cookies for vacation bible school. Sewing was a favorite pastime making an afghan for each family member.
Survivors includes her sons, Charles "Buddy" Gammage of Brownwood and Tony and wife Jackie Clines of Robinson; daughter Sue and husband Larry Hogue of Brownwood; Grandchildren, Lori and husband Cary Killough of Robinson, Kelly Clines and wife Jennie of Robinson, Robin Hogue and Dianna Krischke of Early, and Jeffrey Paul of Waco. Great- grandchildren, Tyler, Katie and Ryan Killough of Weatherford, Chelsea and Chase Hogue of Missouri, Kris Evans and Tiffanie Harper of Early.

Services for Guy D. Bridges, 69, of Elkhart, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home with the Revs. J. Mack Endsley and J. C. Searcy officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mr. Bridges died Sunday at a Houston hospital.
He was born in Anderson County on Oct. 10, 1924, to Grady Patrick and Allie Mae Parker Bridges. He was a lineman for Ducon Electrical Corp.
Mr. Bridges was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elkhart. He served in the Army during World War II.
He was survived by his wife, Melba Bridges of Elkhart; daughter, Ronda Garcia of Crosby; sons, Jerry Bridges and Ricky Bridges, both of LaPorte; sisters, Cleola Searcy of Elkhart, Bernice Deal of Grapeland and Johnnie Maude Holton of Lexington; brother, Ben Bridges of Elkhart; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Steven Garcia, Mark Deal, Perry Deal, James Surginer, Rodney Surginer, Darrell Dehart and Herman Parker.

Funeral services for Mrs. J. H. Woody Jr., 40, of Elkhart, Anderson County, a former Dallas resident, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Hassell and Foster Funeral Chapel in Palestine. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Elkhart.
Mrs. Woody was killed Monday on State Highway 19 when her automobile ran off the road and landed in Catfish Creek near Athens.
Among her survivors are her husband; mother, Mrs. Cordia Bailey, and two sisters, Mrs. George Torbert and Mrs. Leona Wills, all of Dallas.

Services for James Edward Dunnahoe, 76, of Mart, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Herrington/Land of Memory Chapel in Palestine with the Rev. Doug Washburn officiating. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery.
Mr. Dunnahoe died Thursday in a Waco hospital.
He was born May 23, 1926 in Anderson County to Fred and Ima Woody Dunnahoe.
Mr. Dunnahoe had lived in Anderson County for most of his life and was living in Mart at the time of his death.
He was a member of the Montalba Baptist Church.
He was a rancher and served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
Mr. Dunnahoe is survived by sons, Dan D. Dunnahoe of Clovis, N.M. and Duane C. Dunnahoe of New Iberia, La.; daughters, Durenda Trimble of Palestine and Dee Dee Young of Longview; brother, W.D. Dunnahoe of Houston; sisters, Lorraine Wright of Longview and Fay Oxford of Tyler; 14 grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. Pallbearers are Donnie Oxford, Jarrett Watkins, Lance Dunnahoe, Cody Dunnahoe, John Edward Dunnahoe and Taylor Dunnahoe.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the Salvation Army.

Mrs. Calloway is survived by her children, Durenda Trimble of Mancos, Colo., Dan Dunnahoe of Clovis, N.M. and Duane Dunnahoe of New Iberia, La.; step-children, Judy Thrasher of Houston, Brenda Owens of Palestine, Howard Lynn Calloway of Palestine; 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Carroll Graser of Palestine. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
