Barbara June Graves Stratman was born to Jack and Pauline Graves of Palestine. She resided in Bossier City, La., with her husband of 20 years, Rodney Stratman.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Pauline Graves; her brother, Jack Graves, Jr.; and a daughter, Julie Bryson.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney; her brother, Jerry Graves and wife Betty; sons Joel Howell and wife Lea Ann and Steven Sikes and wife Lenee and numerous grand and greatgrandchildren.
A loving generous Christian, mother, wife and friend, June spent her entire life helping people. Though she lost the battle to cancer, she touched so many lives with love and care.
A memorial service will be at First United Methodist Church in Palestine.

Barbara June Stratman, born June 10, 1940, passed away June 7, 2015 in her beautiful home in Bossier City. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Stratman, her brother, Jerry Graves, her two sons Joel Howell and Steven Sikes, several grandchildren, and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Pauline Graves, her brother Jack Graves Jr., and her daughter, Julie Howell Bryson.
She was born in Henderson, Texas, and grew up and graduated from high school in Palestine, Texas. Her father was a football coach at Gaston High School and Palestine High School. Her mother owned and operated Graves Insurance Agency in Palestine, Texas. After high school June became an LVN and worked as a nurse while raising her children. She was loved by all and had many friends. One of her dearest friends, Sheila Sanford, said it best, June Stratman never heard an angry word, never said anything bad about anyone, was a character builder of all those she loved, and she will be forever missed. Rest in peace my dearest of friends.
In life, she was the most honest, kind, and loyal person that you could ever know. She was also a vibrant and sassy lady who loved to laugh and adored going to the movies. June was a Godly woman, but she didn't mind taking a chance with the slots and sipping sweet wine every once in a while. There aren't enough words to describe her devotion to her family and friends, or her love of life. All she wanted in the end was to be remembered by how she lived, not how she died. Let's honor her by celebrating her life.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Sanctuary Fund at Asbury United Methodist in Bossier City.

Charles Aaron Oldham Sr. Son of A.D. and Retha Lee Pickle Oldham. Grandson of Jesse Robert and Annie Bradley Pickle of Anderson County Texas. Charles was survived by his wife, Novella, and their children; Toni Angelia ,Amanda Faith,Charles Aaron Jr, Laura April, Cathryn, Carl and Nora.
Charles served his country for four years in the U.S. Air Force. Charles also worked for Flint Energy Services as an oilfield supervisor and in the oilfield for 40 years.
Charles Aaron Oldham was the toughest "ole" country boy to roll off God's assembly line in centuries. All of us will miss his gentle, strong and compassionate love.

John W. Fincher, 70, died Tuesday at 3 p.m. at his home in Elkhart.
Funeral was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Elkhart Baptist Church with Rev. A. W. Ludlow officiating. Burial was in Elkhart cemetery.
Mr. Fincher is survived by his wife; five sons, Alvertie, Melvin, Eugene, and Howard Fincher, all of Elkhart; and Dalton Fincher, Arp, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Perl [sic] Amason, Palestine, Mrs. Jewel Nelms, Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Avor Boyer, Elkhart and seven grandchildren.

Lorene was the daughter of William "Bill" and Edna M. (Holder) Ward. She married Bennie Robert Canada on August 1, 1961 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 18, 1999.
Lorene was a retired nurses' aide and a member of the Baptist church. She lived in the Jean/Olney area most of her life and moved to Lawton in 2002 to be near family.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Gene Routon, son-in-law, Dennis Smith, special daughter-in-law, Kimberly Joyce Kellar, two brothers, Gene Colley and Bobby Ward, one sister, Billie Jo Fields and one great granddaughter, Taylor Leigh Rickard.
Survivors at time of death included two sons; Russell Routon and wife Donna of Megargel, Texas and Bennie Ray Canada and wife Carrie of Olney, Texas; three daughters, Sherry Smith, of Lawton, Oklahoma, Debra Wilson and husband Jerry of Duncan, Oklahoma and Tina Haile and husband Jimmy of Caldwell, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Jo Routon of Terrell, Texas; one brother, Donald Ward of Mineral Wells, Texas; three sisters, Wanda Sisk of Lawton, Oklahoma, Joyce Fincher of Weatherford, Texas, and Linda Spillers of Baytown, Texas.

OLNEY Lorene Canada, 77, formerly of Olney, died Saturday, June, 19, 2010, in Lawton, Okla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Haile of Blackjack Baptist Church, Caldwell, Texas, officiating. Burial will follow in Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Mrs. Canada was a retired nurses aide.
Survivors include two sons, Russell Routon of Megargel, Texas, and Bennie Ray Canada of Olney; three daughters, Sherry Smith of Lawton, Okla., Debra Wilson of Duncan, Okla., and Tina Haile of Caldwell, Texas; one brother, Donald Ward of Mineral Wells, Texas; three sisters, Wanda Sisk of Lawton, Okla., Joyce Fincher of Weatherford, Texas, and Linda Spillers of Baytown, Texas; 31 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
