Mrs. Hight went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Wood Memorial Nursing Home in Mineola, Texas, where her daughter works, after battling cancer of the pancreas.
Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
She was born October 22, 1933 in Lawton to Frederick and Florence (Swanson) Davis. She married Oliver Lee Hight, who served in the military for twenty seven years, on January 12, 1953 in Lawton. He died March 26, 1999. She traveled to Germany twice while her husband was in the Army. She was a member of the Order of the Easter Star, Lawton Chapter 82, where she was a Past Worthy Matron. She was also a member of Central Baptist Church and the Military Widows of Fort Sill, Oklahoma. She moved from Lawton to be close to her oldest daughter when she became ill.
She is survived by three children and their spouses, Deborah and John Potts, Quitman, Texas, Margaret Eason, Roff, Oklahoma and Charles and Rhonda Hight, Lawton, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a sister, Nathalee Blackburn and her husband Sam, Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents and a son-in-law, Gary Eason.

Charlotte Virginia Laird Edge
On February 23, 1920, Charlotte was born to John and Virginia Pate Laird in Center Grove, Texas. She was the youngest of eight siblings. Ettie, Wilma, Reginald, George, Robert, Darrell and Anna Faye have preceded her in death along with her loving husband, J.O. Bill Edge. It will be a beautiful homecoming.
Growing up Charlotte attended schools around the Center Grove area and graduated from Corrigan High School. After High School she met the love of her life, Bill Edge, and they united as one. After they first married Bill joined the Navy and stayed with family till his term was finished. Within a few years they moved to Baytown and called it home.
Charlotte worked as a Secretary for Ball Insurance and they were very active in the Lake Wood Church of Christ in Baytown. They also started the best days of their life because they received two children, Gerry and Debbie. After retirement in 1975, they retired and moved back to Livingston, Texas.
They were avid travelers, domino players, fisherman, sports watchers, and church goers.
Charlotte Loved the Lord and her family. She was very active in the Livingston Church of Christ.
Charlotte leave behind her son, Gerry Edge & wife Laura; daughter, Debbie Oliver & husband Lawrence; grandchildren, Dana Minor & husband Josh , Darren Edge, Jeremy Edge & wife Colleen, Jon Edge, Kelly Dial & husband Vance; great-grandchildren, Alyx Minor, Aiden Minor, Weston Dial and Brance Dial; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Family would like to say a special thank you to the Corrigan Nursing Home, Gentiva Hospice Care, and especially RN Christina Murphy Wood.
A visitation will be held from 5pm till 7pm Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Pace Funeral Home.
A Celebrationof Charlottes Life will begin at 2pm Monday, December 28, 2015 at Pace Funeral Home with Lindell Mitchell and Manuel Porter officiating. Interment to follow at Center Grove Cemetery.

JAMES E. "JIM" PRINCE, 88, a kind and honorable man who treasured his family above all else, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2004. He possessed a deep faith in God, a love of life, a keen sense of humor, and a belief in fairness, compassion and goodwill. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elwanda Prince; daughter, Sharon Sue Trapp and husband, Roy; son, Alan Dwayne Prince and wife Karen; three grandchildren, Ryan, Natalie, and Jason; three great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Haley Prince, two brothers, and two sisters. Jim led a remarkable life that began on a small farm in the Tennessee hills, and included twenty years of service in the Army and 15 years at IRS. His military career was highlighted by service in General Patton's 3rd Army during WWll, and tours in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Korea, and the Philippines. A member of signal corps, radio intelligence, he attained the rank of Master Sergeant, and he and his wife spent two memorable years in Heidelberg, Germany, where their daughter was born. Born in Minor Hill, Tennessee on November 9, 1915, Jim was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Tullahoma for 50 years, an avid hunter and fisherman, and possessed an amazing knowledge of history, geography, and U. S. and world affairs. As a husband and father, he was dearly loved and will remain in our hearts always. As a human being both rare and true, he will always inspire us. James Prince was a truly good man. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, June 26, 2004 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 27, 2004 in the Family Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park Cemetery.

Nolen Edward Renfrow, 87, formerly of Charleston, Ark., died Dec. 16, 2007, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab.
Born April 3, 1920, in Lavaca, Ark., he was the son of Beulah and Sherman Renfrow. He married Juanita Eddy on Dec. 25, 1940, and lived most of his life in Charleston, where he was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was a World War II veteran, having served as a quartermaster 2 nd class in the Navy, deployed in the Philippines. He earned both his bachelor?s and master?s degrees in vocational agriculture from the University of Arkansas.
Following a 13-year career teaching vocational agriculture in Arkansas and a five-year period in the insurance business, he became postmaster at Charleston and served there for 21 years until retirement in 1982.
He was a deacon at First Baptist Church, Charleston, for more than 40 years. He was a member of the board of directors for Western Arkansas Area Agency on Aging for 12 years, served on the Franklin County Library Board for nine years, and was a former secretary of the Charleston Chamber of Commerce.
He was a master Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Warren; and his wife of more than 61 years.
Survivors include two sons, Ed and wife Jane Nolen of Siloam Springs and Phillip and wife Nancy of Washington, D. C.; four grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
Arrangements are pending and will be announced by Smith Mortuary of Charleston. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church of Charleston, P. O. Box 297, Charleston, AR 72933. Tarver Robertson Smith

C.; four grandchildren, Mindy Hunt of Siloam Springs, Lori Ruble of Lino Lakes, Minn., Connor Renfrow of Hermosa Beach, Calif., Grady Renfrow of Washington, D. C. and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Smith Mortuary in Charleston at 11: 30 a. m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, with Rev. Mike Love officiating with burial to follow at Garden Memories Cemetery in Charleston. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Pallbearers will be deacons of First Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the T. J. Burt Sunday School class of First Baptist Church and Paul King. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church, of Charleston, P. O. Box 297, Charleston, Ark. 72933. His body will not be ready for viewing until Thursday morning.
