Hollie R. Dobbs Dies at His Home Tuesday Night
Hollie R. (Colonel) Dobbs, age 72 years, passed away at his home in the Wright community. ten miles north of Weatherford, Tuesday night at 11:05 o'clock, following A protracted illness.
Mr. Dobbs was born and reared on the farm where he died and where he had lived all his life.
Survivors are his wife and six children, four sons, and two daughters: Rev. Jimmie Dobbs, Millsap; Lloyd Dobbs, Fort Worth; Earl Dobbs and Bertice Dobbs at home; Mrs. George Stewart and Mrs. Felix Crow, both of Fort Worth. He is also survived by two sisters and two brothers; Mrs. Elzie Stewart, Fort Worth: Mrs. Ella Ellis, California; J. A. Dobbs; Oklahoma; Horace Dobbs, Weatherford; and one half-brother, John Brown of Oklahoma.
The funeral services were conducted at Bethel church, Ten miles north of Weatherford at 2 .o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. M. R. Rainbolt, formerly of this coun?y, but now of Caster, La., conducted the services. Burial took place in the Clark cemetery.

Mrs. Addie I. Dobbs Widow Of Late H. R. (Colonel) Dobbs Died at a Weatherford Hospital Friday afternoon.
Mrs. Dobbs was aa native of Kansas, but had resided in Parker County sience 1881. She had lived for quite a long time in the Central community, in the north part of the county. Suvivors are three sons and one daughter, as follows: Rev. J. G. Dobbs, Gustine, Lloyd Dobbs, Aledo, Earl Bertice Dobbs, Weatherford, and Mrs. Felix Crow, Fort Worth.
The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:30 o'clock from theCotten-Bratton Chapel and internment will take place in the Clark cemetery, 12 miles north of Weatherford.
