"Miles Choate 1932 - 2004 Miles (Wampy) R. Choate passed away peacefully Aug. 5, 2004, in Caballo, N.M. He was 72 years of age. He was born in Douglas, Ariz., on April 18, 1932. He lived at the El Coronado Ranch in Turkey Creek until seventh grade, at which time his family moved to Tres Alamos. He graduated from Benson High School and later joined the Air Force. Miles was in the Air Force several years, including time spent in France. Miles married and lived at Campstone, Queen Creek and Sulphur Springs Valley in Arizona. Later, he moved to Cotton City, Pie Town and Caballo, N.M. Miles spent his life working as a hog farmer, truck driver, cowboy, rancher, windmiller and well driller. He loved mechanical equipment, woodworking and being outdoors. He is survived by his brother Rufus Choate of Pie Town, N.M.; one son, Roger Choate of Benson, Ariz.; three daughters, Christy Dockter of Farmington, N.M., Carolyn Nolting of Benson, Ariz., Joellen Gilje of Rolette, N.D.; and nine grandchildren. Friends and family will gather at the El Coronado Ranch in Turkey Creek, at 2 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, for his memorial."

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Willis Crisp; mother, Nannie West; and sisters. Hautence Buckalew and Annie Lee Buckalew.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Stroud Funeral Home in Clute with Jerry Hayslip Officiating, Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in Russell Cemetery in Jewitt, Texas.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2006, from 6.00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born June 14, 1932, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, was retired from the U.S. Air Force.

On Jan. 27, 2009 Robert W. Howell passed away in Yuma, Ariz. of natural causes. Memorial services will be held at Idaho Veterans Cemetery on May 1, 2009 at 3 p.m. He was born June 14, 1932 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He married Doris V. McNinch Nov. 17, 1951. He joined the United States Air Force in 1952. He was very proud of his 20 year career in the Air Force often seen wearing his "Vietnam Vet" hat. Most of his career was spent at Mountaln Home AFB, which included two years in Vietnam, one year in Morocco. He then became a Boise business owner of Minuteman Printing. In 1987 he was employed by American Business Forms before full retirement in 1994. Bob loved the nine years they spent traveling in their 5th wheel before settling down for the winters in
Yuma, Ariz. and summers in Caldwell, Idaho. He was proud of his wife of 57 years, three children Robert R. Howell wife Lola, Ronald L. Howell, wife Jodi, Susan L. Gaythwaite husband Ritchie. He adored his seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
