Helen Clarice Moore, 76, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 13, at Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton.
Helen was born in San Angelo, Texas, to the late Howard Calvin Lackey and Clircy Smith Lackey, on January 1, 1937, the first baby of the new year! Helen was a music lover, she played and sang country music most of her life. She sang with some of the great legends in country music before they were great. She was a test car driver. You could always count on Helen to whop you in a game of cards, be completely honest with you, and give you a great laugh! She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. We love you Mom - Grandma Helen - A.K.A. Tha Granny.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Bailey Krish; a grandson, B.J. Turner; brothers, Allen and Jimmy Lohse; a sister, Joye Christopher.
She is survived by daughters, Lana Chapman and Leslie Harris; sons, Howard Bailey Jr. and Brad Turner; sister, Patsy Dunn; brother, Bud Lackey; and a whole slew of grands, greats, and great-greats!! U12

Helen Moore 76, of Hamilton, passed away Monday. June 10 surrounded by Family. Graveside services have been set for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 13 at Oakwood Cemetery. Helen was born in San Angelo, TX on January 1, 1937, she was the first baby of the new year. Helen was a music lover, she played and sang country music most of her life. She sang with some of the great legends in country music before they were great. She was a test car driver. You could always count on Helen to whoop you in a game of cards, be completely honest with you, and give you a great laugh!. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed We love you Mom - Grandma Helen - A.K.A. Tha Granny. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Vicky Bailey Krish. A grandson, B.J. Turner.
