Mrs. Maria Dokos Kastanis, 33, 2913 E. 3370 South, was dead on arrival of natural causes Nov. 21 at 6 a.m. at a Salt Lake hospital.
Born March 8, 1933, Ogden, to Peter and Magdeline Bobetsi Dokos. Married to Dean I. Kastanis, June 10, 1956 Pocatello. Member Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Former employe Utah state IBM division.
Survivors: husband; son, daughter, Perry, Patricia, both Salt Lake City; parents, Pocatello; sisters, Mrs. Archie (Shea) Service, Mrs. James (Stella) Firkins, both Pocatello. Funeral Wednesday 2 p.m., Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 279 S. 2nd West. Prayer service Tuesday 7:30 p.m., 36 E. 7th South where friends call Tuesday 7-8.

Florene "Peggy" Kastanis, Moses Lake Washington resident, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at her home.
Peggy was born on August 10, 1942 in Trenton, Missouri to the late James T. and Dora Ann (Flatt) Stone. She married Dean Kastanis in 1989.
Employment opportunities took them to Moses Lake eleven years ago.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000 at 1 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Greek Ortho-dox Cathedral, 279 South 300 West, Salt Lake City, Utah. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, SLC.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of Peggy would be welcomed or to a charity of your choice. Funeral Directors: Deseret Memorial Mortuary.

Funeral services for Francis Marion Largent, 60, longtime resident of the Purdy community, were conducted in the Assembly of God Church Saturday with the Rev. G.W. Hathcock officiating, assisted by Fred James of Marlow.
Mr. Largent suffered a stroke Wednesday and died about noon May 23,
He was a native of Orr, Okla., born March 30,1893. He moved to Purdy community with his family when he was six.
On Sept.4, 1911, he married a Purdy girl, the former Beulah Robberson. The couple had seven children, five survive.
In addition to his widow he is survived by three sons, Horace, Alton and Bert Largent all of Lindsay; two daughters, Mrs Helen Hunt and Mrs Jessie Canada, both of Archer City, Texas;
15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Interment in the Purdy Cemetery was under the direction of Brown Fuberal Home.

Beulah Largent James was born February 7,1895, in Purdy, Indian Territory and passed from this life on Friday, June 5,1987, in her home at Erin Springs, at the age of 92.She had lived her entire life in this community and was a homemaker. Mrs. James attended the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cephas James, and her first husband, Mr. Francis Marion (Bud) Largent on May 24,1957,whom she married September 4,1911. Also her parents, Tom and Donna Roberson.
Mrs. James is survived by three sons, Horace Largent, Marlow and Alton and Bert Largent both of Lindsay; two daughters, Helen Hunt, Apache;and Jessie Canada Archer City TX; four step sons Fred James, Wichita Falls, TX; Gilbert James, Oklahoma City; Bobby James, Lubbock, TX; and Junior James, Spokane, WA; two stepdaughters, Josephine Stokes, Oklahoma City, and Pauline Woolsey of Bella Vista, AR; 40 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, June 8, 1987, at 2 p.m. in the B.G. Boydston Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Oliver Russell of Marlow, officiating.
Pallbearers for the service were her grandsons.
Interment was held in the Purdy Cemetery under the direction of the B.G. Boydston Funeral Home, Lindsay, Oklahoma.
