Services for Abner Jackson Gilbreath, 64, Quitman, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy White officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under direction of Cain Funeral Home in Quitman.
Pallbearers will be Keith Gilbreath, Tony Gilbreath, Dwayne Gilbreath, Roneell Pogue, Johnny Paul Wilson and Ernie Lee Irons.
Mr. Gilbreath died Monday morning at his home after a sudden illness.
He was born Aug. 14, 1919, in Yantis, and had resided in Wood County most of his life.
He was a carpet dealer and a member of the board of directors of the Wood County Central Hospital since 1981.
He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Gilbreath, Quitman; two sons, Phillip Gilbreath, Garland, and Max Gilbreath, Quitman; two daughters, Jan McMillan and Breanda Taylor, both of Irving; two brothers, Hiram Gilbreath and Aaron Gilbreath, both Yantis; a sister, Syble Pogue, Quitman; and four grandchildren, April Rappe, Jeff Taylor, Justin Gilbreath and Joshua Gilbreath.

Stinnett was born July 20, 1924 in Wood County and died Dec. 1 in a local hospital. He was a US Army World War II veteran and an oil field driller.
He is survived by his wife, Otha Dee Stinnett of Bridgeport; mother Odessa Stinnett of Mineola; sons, Jerry Stinnett of Bridgeport, Hershell Stinnett of Paradise and Don and Keith Stinnett of Chico; daughters Lynn Plumley and Rita Shurbet of Bridgeport; sisters, Irma Willis of Winnsboro and Dorothy Sparkman of Mineola; 18 grand-children; and three great-grandchildern.

PARADISE: Otha Dee Stinnett, 85, of Paradise passed away November 8, 2010, in Bridgeport.
Otha Dee Stinnett was born in Caddo Mills, Texas, on January 21, 1925, to D. T. and Bertie Lee McWhorter. She was a member of Cates Street Baptist Church. She loved quilting, crocheting, and being around her family.
She is survived by her daughters Lynn Plumley and husband Curtis and Reta Shurbet, both of Paradise; sons Jerry Clyde Stinnett and wife Kathy of Bridgeport, Don Stinnett and wife Patsy of Runaway Bay, Hershell Stinnett and wife Brenda of Paradise, and Keith Stinnett of Lake Bridgeport; sisters Doris Lee of Quitman, Texas and Wandie Cornelius of Gun Barrell. City, Texas; eighteen grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death. by her parents, husband Junior, grandparents, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm. Thursday, November 11, 2010, at Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment followed at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Brother Terry Terry officiated. Pallbearers were Lance Stinnett, Curt Plumley, Chris Matheson, Jimmy Keith Stinnett, Klayton Canova, and Jimmy Joe Stinnett.

Mrs. Stinnett was born March 20, 1948 in Bridgeport. She married Keith Stinnett on November 21, 1975 in Decatur. She was an LVN at Bellmire Nursing Home in Bowie, and attended the Assembly of God church.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Stinnett; her mother, Beulah Mae Robinson; her son, Jimmy Keith Stinnett; her daughter, Anita Kay Malone; her brother, Leon Walker; and four grandchildren.
Interment was in Pleasant Grove #1 in Decatur. Pallbearers were Buddy Blalock, John Woodman, Steve Maxfield, Jim Duncan, Vince Forrester, Jim Bob Hampton. Honorary pallbearers: Sonny Clark, Billy Brown, Waylon Altman, Joe Don Biggers.
