Neal Ward Jameson, Sr. age 87, passed away Monday, June 25, 2001, in Plano, Texas. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2001, at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Glenn Shock, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Jameson was born November 3, 1913, in Evanston, Illinois, the son of Edward A. and Emma Halvorsen Jameson. He attended Ball State College in Angola, Indiana.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a glider pilot. Neal completed his glider flight training at the Laurenberg/Maxton Air Force Base. Lurenberg, North Carolina. Soon after receiving his glider pilot wings on September 17, 1944, he was sent to the European Theatre of war.
Neal was awarded the Bronze Star for Meritorious Achievement in action during the period of March 24-25, 1945, for action near Wesel, Germany.
He married Dorothea L. Blankenship of Seymour, Texas, on September 18, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After the war in Europe and Japan, Neal worked as a manufacturer's representative. Later he formed his own independent oil and gas production company in Winfield, Kansas, and remained active in the petroleum business until his retirement in 1933. He was a member of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church, and the Richardson Rotary Club.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothea Jameson of Richardson, Texas; a daughter, Patricia Ann Rezaie of Houston, Texas, a daughter, Shirley Elaine O'Connell of Richardson, Texas, and a son, Neal Ward Jameson, Jr. of Richardson, Texas; and by four grandchildren, Tracy Michelle Beeson, Neal Ward Jameson III, Kenneth Ward Jameson and Ryan Matthew O'Connell.

PATSY NELL HANNA
Patsy Nell Hanna passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Hospice of Wichita Falls.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 22, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Seymour, with the Dr. Sammy Elliot, pastor, and A.B. Martin, officiating. Interment followed in Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial funeral Home.
Mrs. Hanna was born February 19, 1933, in Seymour, Texas, to R. B. and Lillian McCord Blankenship. She attended school in Seymour and gratuated from Seymour High School in 1950. She married Bobby Ray Hanna on December 22, 1953, in Seymour, Texas. He preceded her in death November 21, 2002. After graduation from high school she began work for GTE as an operator, later moving into the business office, where she worked until retiring in 1988, She then worked for the City of Seymour as Administrative Clerk from 1988-1999. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seymour, the Saturday Bridge Club, AARP, Ladies Auxilliary to the VFW; the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Tuesday evening Ladies DQ Bunch.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Robinson; and one grandson, Tres Robinson of Wichita Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by one son, Keith Allen Hanna on September 4, 1973; by a brother, Royce Blankenship; and by a sister, Dorothea Jameson.
