Imogene Blankenship Crocker
August 27, 1927 - April 7, 2009
Graveside services for Imogene Blankenship-Crocker, 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Buel Cemetery. The Rev. Orville Shindoll will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be her children. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
Imogene Blankenship-Crocker passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born August 27, 1927 in Seymour, Texas to Sabra Evelena Vickers and Clarence Woods Blankenship. She married Raymond W. Crocker Sr. on June 30, 1951 in San Antonio.
Mrs. Crocker graduated from International Bible College, San Antonio, TX. She and her husband were committed to serving Christ throughout their many years together. They helped to build churches in the Caribbean in such places as Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Haiti, etc., were youth ministers in Wichita Falls, Sunday School Teachers in Wichita Falls, Fort Worth and contributed to the spreading of Gospel around the world. They were married for 43 years, 9 months and 5 days a the time of Raymond's passing. She was a life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and life member of DAV Ladies Auxiliary.
Her family knew her by many names; her husband called her Sugar, Honey and Jeannie and her family called her Momma, Imogene, Jeannie, Momma-Jean, Granny, Granny Jeannie and Aunt Imogene.
Imogene Crocker is survived by her children, Raymond Wesley Crocker, Jr. and wife, Deborah Henderson-Crocker, Clarence Daniel Crocker, Michael Wayne Crocker and wife, Glenda Norris-Crocker, Paula Jean Crocker, James Jackson Crocker and wife, Melania Zaubrecher-Crocker and David Ernest Crocker; brothers, Robert Blankenship and Ancle Blankenship; in-laws, Etta Blankenship, Eddie Crocker, Edith Crocker, Joseph Crocker and Effie Crocker; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Crocker, Sr.; father, Clarence W. Blankenship; mother, Sabra E. Vickers-Blankenship; father-in-law, Clarence T. Crocker; mother-in-law, Phebe E. Pearson-Crocker; daughter-in-law, Marie Schucha-Crocker; four sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his daughter Katherine Roberta Blankenship, sons Robert Woods Blankenship Jr. and Ronald Charles Blankenship. Brother Ancle Ike Blankenship. Grandchildren Etta, April, Ronald Jr, A Clarence. Great grandchildren John, Sara, Etta, Russell, Jonathan, Parker. Also left behind numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Etta, daughter Carolyn Shelton, his sisters Mattie, Martha Bell, Lillian, Imogene and brother David.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South from 5PM to 9PM. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 9AM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, followed by interment in Mission Burial Park South.

Etta Alberta Blankenship born to Charlie Gage and Sara Ellen in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma on July 4, 1932 went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2012 at the age of 79. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Wood Blankenship married to him for 60 years. Daughter, Katherine Blankenship, Sons; Ronald Charles Blankenship ( Camille ), Robert Woods Blankenship JR. (Terri), Sister, Louise Lair (Morris), Grandchildren; Etta, April, Ronald Jr., and Clarence, Great grandchildren; Sara, Etta, Russell, Jonathan, she also left behind numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Shelton, her sister, Mary Ruth and brother Johnnie.
Services
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Mission Park South from 5PM to 9PM. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Mission Park South at 1PM followed by interment at Mission Burial Park South.
