Davis Jr. & wife, Cynthia, of Harrah, Gary & wife, Lisa, of Jones; 3 grandchildren: Courtney Taylor, Jason Davis, & Kaylee Ann Davis; 2 great-grandchildren: Joseph & Walker TayIor; 3 brothers; 1 sister; & mother, Laura Davis of Mt. Laura Davis, 95, passed away October 30, 2005, in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
She was born March 17, 1910 to Henry and Anna (Courtney) Cook in Leonard, Texas. She married Claude Davis and he preceded her in death in 1964.
Laura was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain View, Oklahoma and had lived in Mountain View area most of her life.
Survivors include three sons: Edward Lee Davis, Carnegie, OK; ,James Red Davis, Carnegie, 0K; Vance Richard Davis, Broxton, OK; One daughter, Barbara Sue Pinkston, Reno, NV; 16 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren; one sister, Jewel Hood, AR; two brothers: Sam Cook, TN and Ray Cook, Oklahoma City, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, J .C. and two daughters, Josie and Patsy.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at the First Baptist Church, Mountain View, Oklahoma.
Interment will he in the Mountain View Cemetery, Mountain View, Oklahoma under the direction of Ray and Marthas Funeral Home, Mountain View, Oklahoma.

Mrs. George P. Bridges, 45, died at 7:10 a. m. Friday at the Palestine Sanitarium, following an illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. at the Elkhart Methodist church, with Rev. B. F. Waltham, Longview, officiating. Burial will be in the Elkhart cemetery.
