Willard G. Dellis, 80, Hot Springs Village died on Wednesday June 01, 2011, at a local hospital. Willard was born August 08, 1930, in Olton, Texas, to the late Albert and Georgia Phillips Dellis.
Willard graduated from Plainview High School in 1947 and later graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Geology in 1960. Willard served in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954. Willard spent his career in the oil/gas industries first working for Texaco & Perry Gas in Midland Texas before opening his own company as owner and operator named, "the Dellis Company" which was a gas measurement business, retiring in 1996 and moved to Hot Springs Village in 1997. Willard is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Kateva Annette Dellis'Doerfer, two brothers; Albert and Wayne Dellis and three sisters; Thava Mullin, Betty Donaldson and Margarette Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife Bettye Dellis of fifty-five years, one sister Mary Louise Martin of Fresno, CA, and his two grand-daughters of Texas.
Willard was a member of Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village and the Celebration Choir.
Graveside services will be held at CedarVale Cemetery on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., with a Church service following at Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village at 2:00 p.m.

Margarete Mitchell, 76 entered into rest on April 15, 2011 surrounded by her loving family in Safford, AZ.
Margarete was born on March 8, 1935 to Georgia Rilla and Albert Dellis in Plainview, TX. She lived her younger years with her parents and six siblings in Plainview, and fondly spoke of her life there.
In 1956 she met and married Charles Mitchell, "The Love of Her Life". The couple moved to Safford in 1960 where they raised thier five children, Val, Pam, Sheila, and Kim, and enjoyed the births of thier 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
In 1971 Margarete began her 28 year career as an Avon Sales Representative, and consistently maintained her President's Club status. Some of her most cherished friendships were born from the relationships with her Avon customers.
Margarete's love for the Lord was apparent in all areas of her life. In the early 1970's she founded one of the first Vacation Bible School Charters in the valley. She was an active member in her church, and passed her Christian values onto everyone she knew. It was in Margarete's heart to share the love of Jesus.
Margarete had a passion for writing, and aspired to be an author of children's books. She leaves her family with many wonderful words through her stories, letters, cards, and thoughts on her favorite scriptures. Her Legacy will never be forgotten.
Margarete is survived by her husband Charles Mitchell, son, Eric (Christina)Mitchell, daughter Pam (Neil) Karnes, daughter, Sheila (Bobby) Padilla, daughter, Kim (Bubba) Hall,13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brother, Willard Dellis, and sisters, Thava Mullin and Louise "Lulu" Martin. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Greer and Butch Dellis, sister Betty Donaldson, and her son Val Charles.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Margarete's many caregivers who gave her comfort and friendship.
A Celebration of Margarete's life will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22, 2011 at The New Life City Church on Hwy 191 in Safford.

James Elvin Donaldson, 85, of Waco, went to join the Legions of God Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, after a short illness, being cared for by his two sons and daughter. Chapel services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. The family would like to invite family and friends for a meal at 5 p.m. at Bosqueville Baptist Church on Rock Creek Rd. after the services.
James was born in Cameron, Texas, to the late James Thomas and Addie Gertrude Gray Donaldson. He served his country in World War II in the U.S. Army. He was a prisoner of war during his time in the European theater. He was very active in VFW, helping any and all disabled veterans as he was a disabled veteran himself. He was known for his expertise in baseball. His self-taught harmonica playing and dancing always drew quite a crowd. He was a very colorful character who had plenty of stories and he never met a stranger. He was a proud Christian husband, father and grandfather of eight, great-grandfather of 15 and great-great-grandfather of five.
Preceding him in death was his wife of 56 years, Bettye Jean Dellis Donaldson on June 9, 2002; brother, Harold Lloyd Donaldson; and stepfather, W.F. Lancaster.
He is survived by his daughters, Jan Farney and husband, George, and Donna Laughlin, both of Waco; sons, Jim Donaldson, Joe Donaldson and wife, Sharon, both of Waco, and Don Donaldson, of Austin; grandchildren, Khaun McCormick and wife, Traci, Heather Waller, Jennifer Maggard, Andy Donaldson, and Jamie Schaffer and husband, Scott, all of Waco, Jason Burgess and wife, Cara, of China Spring, Jamie Bacerra and husband, Ed, Scot Donaldson and wife, Pamela, and Eric Donaldson, all of Austin, and Robin Cobb and husband, Clint, of Dallas; brothers, H.R. "Shorty" Donaldson and wife, Marian, of Lubbock and Bobby Land Donaldson and wife, Maxine, of Mulshoe; sister, Linda Kay Shannon and husband, Forrest, of Lubbock; sisters-in-law, Shirley, and Corinee Donaldson and her daughters, Phyllis and Carla.

Doerfer, Kateva Annette Dellis
Kateva Annette Dellis Doerfer blessed this earth on March 17, 1963 in Fort Worth, TX. Her amazing abilities included being a loving mother, daughter and an awe-inspiring encourager. She left this earth on January 7, 2009 to enter the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Heaven is certainly blessed with the humor and wit of this precious woman. When she was 6 years old she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, and was baptized at First Baptist Church Midland by Dr. L.L. Morris and continued to serve her Lord faithfully. As a teenager she was very active in youth activities at First Baptist Church, singing in musicals and 'His Group', going on mission trips and working Vacation Bible School. She graduated from Midland High School in 1981. Her love of the stage and performing arts carried on through college, and she graduated with a degree in Drama from Southwest Texas in San Marcos in 1987, while working at Brown's School with special needs children. Her humorous and vivacious teaching techniques in Sunday School and Bible Study attracted many young people, and while opening up her house to the youth, anyone and everyone could feel welcomed in her loving always-open arms. She participated in many mission trips including Canada, Germany, and New York while carrying the message of her Jesus everywhere she went. Her love of children sparked a teaching career in Midland in 1989, teaching Special Education at Lamar Elementary. That spark later turned into a burning passion resulting in her dream job in May of 2007, teaching Theatre Arts at Alamo Jr. High and Abell Jr. High. With motivational speaking serving as a second language, she was able to inspire her students to act to the best of their ability, to reach higher goals and to step outside of the box. During her first year of teaching Speech and Drama, her students received 2nd and 3rd place during the UIL play competition. Kateva is survived by her two daughters, Kenedi Alaine and Madison Ashley both of Midland; her parents, Willard and Bettye Dellis of Hot Springs Village, AR; many cousins and aunt/uncles. She has done a marvelous job of raising two girls, Kenedi and Madison, and has taught them to love the Lord and to depend on God to guide their lives. Kateva has influenced hundreds and possibly thousands of others to live their life to the fullest, to have fun, and to not forget that all things come together for the good of those who love the Lord. We, the family, want to express our deep gratitude to the nurses and staff at Select Care and to Dr. John McKenna for the exceptional care they gave to our precious mom and daughter. They loved her and cared for her as one of their own. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 2104 W. Louisiana, Midland, TX 79701 in memory of Kateva Doerfer. Funeral services for Kateva have been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Dodd officiating. Interment will be at CedarVale Cemetery in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. PLAINVIEW Cecile James, 90, of Midland, a former Plainview resident, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1997.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in College Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mrs. James was born and raised in Hedley. She moved to Lubbock in 1924 E and graduated from Lubbock High School.
She married George William James in 1928 at Lubbock. She then moved to Washburn, living there from 1928 to 1932. She moved to Levelland in 1932 and to Plainview in 1953. She lived in Plainview until moving to Midland in 1992.
Mrs. James was a member of First Baptist Church in Midland. She taught Bible classes and worked as a seamstress for many years.
Mr. James died in 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Lea Dellis of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Annie Sue Cox of Panama City, Fla.; a son, George V: E. James of Big Lake; two brothers, Jaynes Cloninger of Lubbock and Sidney Cloninger of Farmers Branch; four sisters, Alice Tusha of Lubbock, Willie B. Gentry and Iris Melcher, both of Slaton, and Mary Francis Walther of San Antonio; five grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and two greatgreatgrandchildren.
