LEBANON - Ora B. Butolph, 94, formerly of Lebanon, died Friday in Gresham.
She was born in Sulphur, Okla, to William J. and Margaret M. (Chambers) Jenkins. She moved to California in 1928, to Oregon in June 1948. and to Lebanon in 1960. She had lived in the Gresham area for the past several years.
She married Royce E. Butolph on Nov. 8, 1939, in Susan. Calif. They farmed together until he died on Jan. 6, 1988.
Mrs. Butolph was passionate about her family and her flowers. She had an ability to grow a wide variety of beautiful flowers and plants, impressing visitors with her productions and arrangements.
Surviving are sons Alvin Stites of Eugene and Gene Butolph of Gresham; brother Thomas Jenkins; and sisters Audrey Pendleton. Katherine McMann, Elsie Hightower and Jain. She was preceded in death by a son, ElRoy "Butch" Butolph, as well as her husband.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Lebanon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Private burial was in the Corvallis IOOF Cemetery. Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
