"Annie Alma Marwitz Roberts, 86, died August 27, 2004 in Temple. Funeral services were held August 30 in the Riley Funeral Home chapel in Hamilton with Rev. David Ozmun officiating. Burial followed in the Indian Gap Cemetery.
She was born September 9, 1917 in the Indian Gap Community of Hamilton County where she had been a lifetime resident. She was the daughter of Ewald August Marwitz and Emma Augusta Reinert. She was married to Willie Ferguson Roberts on August 12, 1936 at Indian Gap. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1995.
Mrs. Roberts was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. For many years she worked at Schusters of Texas, one of their first employees. She was a member of the Indian Gap Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Gayle Morris; two sisters, Clara Swindle and Minnie Kohler and two brothers Henry Marwitz and Willie Marwitz."

Lola C. Hankins, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at the age of 65. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Christopher Stainbrook officiating. Interment: Lola will be laid to rest in Annetta Cemetery in Annetta. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Lola was born Oct. 27, 1947, to the late Lowell and Lillie Statum in Kansas. Survivors: Husband, David Hankins; daughter, Laura Hankins Henry and husband, Kurt; daughter, Wendy Hankins; grandsons, Tevin Hankins, Matthew Hankins and Jarrod Runge; granddaughter, Kyleen Henry; and many friends.

Opal Olene Hankins (1922 - 2012)
Opal Olene "Grandma" Hankins, 89, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Olene was born in El Paso to Charles A. and Della Marie Sumpter, but was raised on the north side of Fort Worth. She was active in school and at one time played in a Hawaiian orchestra. She met Horace Hankins and they married. They raised five children together. Olene also babysat all of her grandchildren at one time or another. She helped raise her grandson Brian. She was a great homemaker. She was a PTA member and a Girl Scout leader. She loved to cook and would always have a large Sunday dinner for her family and friends. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Jeff Gordon race fan, and loved country music. She was preceded in death by husband, Horace, and son, Harold.
Survivors: Daughter, Patricia Buckingham; sons, David Hankins and wife, Lola, Randy and wife, Joann, and Barry; grandchildren, Brian Buckingham, Tooter, Laura, Chrissi, Wendy, Terry, Josh, Chance, Blake, Barry Hankins Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren.
