Betty Jo Hilburn of Paoli, Oklahoma was born to Lloyd and Mae (Bradburn) Kissire on July 9, 1929 in Stroud, Oklahoma and passed from this life on March 28, 2014 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years.
Betty grew up in the Blanton View area and attended school in Paoli, Oklahoma. She married Billy E. Wardwell in April of 1946 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. On October 2, 1951, Betty married Dale Hilburn in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Betty worked as a restaurant manager and worked along side Dale in insurance sales. She was a member of Women's Bowling League. In her spare time she enjoyed sports, and any activities her children and grandchildren were involved. She loved to fish and spend time with her family. The most important thing she taught others about life was the "Win-Learn" method: "Lose" not being an option the smallest thing learned was a win, no matter the final results.

Mr. Hilburn passed from this life on June 4, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years. Dale grew up and attended school in Red Oak, Oklahoma where he graduated from Red Oak High School. He attended two years of college at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Dale spent many years working in the oil field and later as a life & health insurance agent. He and Betty Kissire were married on October 2, 1965 in Paoli, Oklahoma. They enjoyed spending time together travelling in their Georgia Boy RV with other Georgia Boy RV owners. Dale was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paoli, served many years on the Paoli School Board and was active with the Senior Citizen Center in Paoli. He loved to fish and was very talented in his woodworking skills. The highlight of his life was his family. Erwin, who was 58, died Saturday afternoon at Lubbocks Methodist Hospital following an extended illness.
She was born May 8, 1931, in Waco, Texas, and was married to Ralph E. Erwin Aug. 7, 1974, in Tatum.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tatum, and was a member of the Lovington chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband of the home; her mother, Lou Smith of Tatum; one brother, Dan Cantrell of Santa Fe, Texas; two stepdaughters, Belinda Cavner of Hobbs and Donna Adams of Lubbock; two stepsons, Ronald Erwin of Hobbs and Dickie Erwin of Austin, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Emma Dell Elizabeth Guice Jurica was the daughter of Chester Elmore Guice and Ellis Elma Attaway. She was born on May 30, 1918 in Mississippi. She was also known as Emma Dell Guice; her granddaughter, Debra Gary Duhon, tells me she never liked the named Elizabeth. She went by Dell to all who knew her.
Dell had 11 siblings: Linnie Lea Guice, Maudie M. Guice (Douglas), Ada Gertrude Guice, Monroe Guice, Herman Guice, Columbus Guice, Jasper Adolphus Guice, Jessie E. Guice, Ira L. Guice, Dalton E. Guice, and Edna Mae Guice.
Dell was married a total of seven times according to family lore. Four of her husbands are named below; two remain unknown at this time. One other husband was reportedly either the father or brother of her son Junior Ray Gary's wife, Vanita Tenery. This husband's first name is unknown; he went by "Red" Tenery. On July 26, 1968, Dell married George Joe Jurica, also in Brazoria County, Texas. There were no children born of this union. Dell and George were still married at the time of his death in 1973, and it does not appear as though she remarried prior to her death on July 19, 1997 in Angleton, Texas. She is buried next to George at Angleton Cemetery.

Eagle Lake- Sarah Stephanie Collins, age 72, passed away Sunday, January 17. 2016. She was born March 6, 1944 in Lakeport, FL the daughter of Edward Peter Didden and Willie Mae Smith Didden Langdale. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her sister Janice Cash and her husband Carlos L Collins. She is survived by her son: Tony Collins and wife Rhonda, daughter: Carla Young and husband Wade, brother. Robert Langdale and wife Sandy, sisters: Barbara Smith, Sandra Moore, Nancy Langdale and Brenda Langdale and four grandchildren.
Visitation is, Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 6-8pm with funeral services Wednesday, January 20, 2016, both at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven, FL.

EAGLE LAKE - Carlos Lee Collins, age 66, of Eagle Lake passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure.
He was born November 15, 1942 in Hazelhurst, GA. Mr. Collins was self employed as a Masonry Contractor.
He was preceded in death by his father Adolphus Collins and brother Oliver Lincoln Collins. He is survived by his mother Ocilla Paterson, Wahneta, wife, of 47 years, Sarah Didden Collins, Eagle Lake, son Tony (Rhonda) Collins, Winter Haven, daughter Carla (Wade) Young, Eagle Lake, brothers Gordon Paterson Wahneta and James Paterson, Wahneta, sister Linda Aguilar, Wahneta, and four grandchildren, Parker Collins, Courtney Collins, Stephanie Young and Nicholas Young.
Visitation will be today Monday, from 6 till 8 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 28th at 10:00 am at the Wahneta Church of God.
