He was married to Ann Young on July 1, 1966 in Los Fresnos, TX. He played basketball on a scholarship at Decatur Baptist College. Ben was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he was very active in the Deacon Family Ministry. He also was a faithful member of his Sunday School Class since 1977, and had been a past president of the Sanger Lions Club. He owned and operated Sanger Mirror and Glass for many years before he retired. Ben is survived by his wife Ann Finley of Sanger; sons, Gerald Finley and his wife Jackie of Colleyville, Scott Finley and his wife Shala of Pueblo, CO; sisters, Litha Moss and her husband Emory of Decatur, Earlyn Hood of Mt.Vernon, Barbara Thedford of Lolita, Peggy Meadows and her husband Clifford of Rhome, Lottie Coen of Fort Worth; brothers, Bob Finley and his wife Faye of Moundridge, KS, David Finley and his wife Sharyn of Yoder, CO; sister-in-law, Sherry Finley of Denton; grandchildren, Collan Finley, Matthew Finley, Eli Finley, Jonathan Finley, Benjamin Finley and Emma Finley. He began his legal career as a paralegal for the IRS and, returning from law school, worked as an IRS attorney for 10 years before starting his own law practice. He was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and son. He enjoyed life and golfing with friends. Steve and his wife of 39 years, Lottie Sue Finley, were united in marriage March 1, 1974, in Denton. They have one son and both, along with several other family and friends, were by his side when he passed from this life to his home in heaven. Survivors: His wife, Lottie; son, Chris and wife, Laura, grandsons, Gareth and Gabriel, of Grand Prairie; mother, Jean Coen of Joplin, Mo.; brothers, Gary and wife, Sally, of Bellevue, Wash., David and wife, Elizabeth, of Arlington; sister, Luanne and husband, Paul Oldham, of Trophy Club; two nephews; three nieces; three great-nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

1920 in Stockton, CA. Lester was a native Stocktonian whose family settled on Roberts Island in the 1880's. Lester was a diversified farmer for over 60 years. During World War II he served proudly in the U.S. Army for two and a half years of active duty in Italy, where he earned the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. In his later years, he enjoyed restoring antique farm equipment and horse drawn carriages. He was an active member in the San Joaquin County Historical Society, Roberts Union Farm Center and the Delta Riders.
He was the beloved husband of the late Norma Rodgers and father of Marcella Rodgers of Tracy, and the late Riva Rodgers. Loving grandfather of Elyse Rodgers-Vieira. Dear brother of the late Catheryn Neves and uncle of the late Monica and Marvel Neves.
Visitation: Sunday, February 29, from Noon - 5:00 p.m. and Monday, March 1, 2004 from 8:00-2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, March 1, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA. Committal: San Joaquin Catholic Mausoleum.

ENOS--in Lodi, July 14, 1984. John Ramond Enos, Sr. beloved husband of Merie Enos of Lodi. Father of John R. Enos, Jr. of French Camp, and Carl Enos of Clements, and Mildred Nugent of Stockton. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. A native of Roberts Island aged 80 years.
Furneral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 1984 at 10:00 AM in the LODI FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 725 S. Fairmont Ave, Lodi. Committal will be at Parkview Cemetery, French Camp.
