NINA A. MOORE
Nina of Manteca, age 90, was reunited with her husband of 65 years, Ray M. Moore, on Friday, March 16, 2007. She was born on September 9, 1916, in Monmouth, California. Nina was residing at the Seasons of Modesto, a memory care community.
Ray and Nina farmed in the Fresno area until the mid 1970s when they moved to the Redding area. Due to Rays illness, they moved to Manteca in 1999 to be closer to their daughters. Ray: died on August 10, 1999, when he was 87 years old. They enjoyed their retirement years traveling in their RV until Ray had open heart surgery in February of 1997. Nine was a housewife. She enjoyed china painting and reading.
She is survived. by her daughters, Thelma I. Avilla of Manteca, Norma J. Davis of Sacramento, and Donna R. Avilla of Manteca; and seven grandchildren.
Services are private.

Pittsfield, Ill., Oct. 29--The death of Mrs. Emily Elizabeth Bradburn occurred on Saturday at her home in the west part of the city. She had been ill for several days. She was born December 10, 1832, and was therefore nearly 86 years of age. She had spent practically all her life in this county. She is survived by a number of sons and daughters, Hon. Mark S. Bradburn of Pittsfield, Dr. Bradburn of Lincoln, Ill., David of Nebo and Charles of Pittsfield, also Mrs. John Waggoner of Pittsfield and Mrs. Emmett Rush of Detroit. One son, Judge Barney T. Bradburn, died about three years ago. The funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at her late home and were private because of the regulations of the board of health. Rev. J. C. Brown of the Methodist church officiated. Interment was made at Prairie Mound cemetery near New Hartford.
